The Law Offices of Howard J. Weintraub, P.C.

Atlanta, Georgia

After spending several years as a federal prosecutor with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and as an Assistant United States Attorney in Atlanta, Howard Jarrett Weintraub founded this law firm in 1985 based on a powerful core principle: whenever the government is trying to take away an individual’s freedom or interfere in any way with the liberty of any individual, that person is entitled to the aggressive protection of their constitutional rights and to the most vigorous and zealous defense permitted by our laws.

Today, our firm's criminal defense practice covers the entire state of Georgia, numerous federal jurisdictions, and criminal cases involving everything from DUI charges and state-level felonies to federal white collar and criminal tax charges. We practice in local courts throughout Georgia, in all of the United States District Courts in the State of Georgia, and have represented defendants in criminal prosecutions in the United States District Courts in the states of Alabama, California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah. We handle criminal appeals in all of these matters as well.
